Recent Projects

We've recently made output shafts for Ginetta from alloy steel. First we turn and spline them, then carry out milling and drilling. After all this they are then sent for heat treatment. We're always happy to be working with such top class race car brands.

Tis the season for race-prep. This month Certa has made 28 driveshafts! We have made six for a GR59M hill climber for Gould Racing who specialise in manufacturing cars for hill climbing.

Some more of our latest work: these two racks made in different sizes are to be used for hinges and hatches in submarines. Pretty cool! 

The latest work to come out of our factory, this double splined shaft has two splines and some keyway in the middle. It has been made with heat treated S155.

We recently manufactured a pair of air restrictors from designs for a Ferrari 458GTE race car. The car was built by Michelotto in Padova, Italy.

We were delighted to be asked to reverse engineer all 8 gears for an Aston Martin DB5/6. Photos show the original parts, midway through the process and the finished product, along with a video of a part being made.
